Assassin's Creed Unveils Unexpected Attack on Titan Event for Thanksgiving
In a bizarre collaboration that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has announced an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event continues from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Revealed
According to the formal release, "An unusual meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of forbidden rituals and terrifying transformations resonate through the darkness." The plot features a "oddly garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a hidden group.
The questline centers on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous foe" and is available to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Locations and Changes
The preview showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a dramatic sequence showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside several items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also contains premium Attack on Titan item packs, including:

Latest Free Story Content
This update also adds the game's newest no-cost story content, titled "The Enigma."
